Muscle Mags Cause Depression

So, it turns out that if you read magazines full of buff and bodacious bods while you plod away on the elliptical/bike/recumbent/insert cardio machine of your choosing, you will likely end up in a worse mood than when you started. Guess it's the realization that your low-intensity, mundane activity will never get you the beautiful body that you see in the magazine. Click here for the full story.

Funny, they let the subjects exercise at the intensity of their choosing, but they didn't state if there was a difference in exercise intensity between the 3 groups (muscle mag, generic mag, no mag). And really, if you are able to read a magazine while you exercise, are you really accomplishing much?
